Apps that demand relative mouse input rather than absolute require this capability. The relative mouse is a per-session feature. It does not persist after reconnecting to a disconnected session. So, why is my mouse not working with Citrix? A mouse using a PS2 connection must be working on the device before Citrix is able to use it. Most types of mice used today, rely on USB connections, either using a wired cable or wirelessly using a special USB adapter. When these mice are connected to the devices USB port, they work on the device but to get them to work inside a Citrix session, requires the Citrix session to be able to recognize the mouse in the USB port.
The Citrix session then liaises with the Citrix software on the device and redirects the USB communications back to the Citrix session. Every mouse movement and click is picked up by the locally installed Citrix software and relayed to the Citrix session. The Citrix session relies on the USB redirection policy defined on the Citrix servers to decide whether the USB port communications can be redirected to the Citrix session or not.
This will make it impossible to use the mouse in the Citrix session as the redirection will not work. As batteries with a low charge might not be able to provide enough power to connect the USB mouse to the device, subsequently stopping the Citrix session from picking up the mouse.
Older types of mice using a PS2 connection instead of a USB connection will only work if redirection allows them to communicate with the Citrix session. Any problems communicating will required investigation of the Citrix policies to see if these are not allowing communication. A Bluetooth mouse needs to be paired to the device where the Citrix session is launched from, as this will allow the Citrix Workspace Receiver, VDA to be able to communicate with the mouse.

The user would have to take photo with physical camera. Thus your user base has difficulty proving it to you causing difficult traversing level 1. Spot on, it is a user-end display issue that for others who do not inherently have the issue, will proceed to view your computer as working correctly when it truly is not. I have had this issue since the end of and I have to maintain November AMD display driver for it to work with citrix without the disappearing mouse issue.
Since last week I'm not able to downgrade the driver to a working version anymore. This occured after the most recent Windows 11 updates. We had to buy new laptops with Intel to avoid problems for the users in our company. Right now we have 6 new laptops with AMD we cannot use. So this is getting really annoying! Since then I have the same issue and it makes working quite hard. Is their an ETA on when this will be fixed? This needs sorting as a priority as we are getting loads of complaints.
I will be sending the last batch of laptops back to the supplier and choosing laptops which are intel based. Please can we get an indication on when this will be fixed so we can communicate this to our users.
With this old driver, I can connect my workspace with normal cursor. The good part for this is that there is no reboot needed. I've tried the settings, but if I complete it like above. I can only use one of the three display I have. Is there another solution? Downgrade to older drivers was not the correct solution. Oh my gosh ninetiger you saved my rear! This was happening to multiple users in Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop.
I've had the issue as described across Win10 and Win11 over XT and the only driver which supports a visible mouse cursor in full screen citrix workspace is Hoping for a fix soon. Having exactly the same issue as described by other users.

Multiple Monitors – Mouse Cursor Jumping Around, Out-of-sync if DPIs of Monitors Are Not Matched.
Seamless applications are scaled as per the monitor DPI settings. In case of multiple monitors with different DPIs, the seamless application snaps to the most appropriate monitor when moved. This is to avoid graphical conflicts that might occur when applications are running between differently scaled monitors. By default, DPI scaling is set to enabled.

Citrix M1 mouse for iPads and iPhone uses Bluetooth to connect to these devices and is recognized by the Citrix software installed on the iPad and iPhone. This allows the Citrix M1 mouse to work in a Citrix session. The Citrix Receiver application needs to be downloaded from the Apple App Store and installed on the device. The Citrix M1 mouse has been specially designed to work with Apple devices like the iPad and iPhone, as normally Bluetooth mice will not work these devices.
A keyboard makes it easier to work with applications especially when information needs to be typed like when using a Word processor within a Citrix session. Typing speeds today make it quicker for most people to create documents, spreadsheets to presentations.
Keyboards connecting to the device using Bluetooth will also fail to connect if Bluetooth is disabled or they have not been properly paired with the device. Keyboards today are primarily using USB or Bluetooth connectivity to connect to devices like personal computers.
Along with wireless keyboard options that use Bluetooth to connect to the device using pairing. When keyboards are connected to the device, they are available to use in a Citrix session as long as they are allowed to. From time to time, the pairing can fail and needs to be reinitiated and the pairing process re-run again to connect. Interrogates the device for peripherals like a keyboard and passes communication from the keyboard in terms of the keystrokes to the Citrix session.
Like with the mouse connectivity, the Citrix session uses the USB redirection policy to decide if any peripherals like the keyboard can be used within the Citrix session. As long as there are no policy restrictions on the Citrix session, these keyboards should still work within the Citrix session.
